TWO PEOPLE. TWO ROLES. ONE COHERENT FRAME.
Halloween Couple Photo Editor
Couple edits fail when the model treats two photos as one prompt. This workflow gives each adult a separate photo and a named role, then builds a shared costume scene around both. The result is a coordinated portrait, not two cutouts standing next to each other.

Why two-photo edits need a different prompt
A single-person edit has one identity to protect. A couple edit has two, plus the relationship between them. If the prompt says 'two people in Halloween costumes,' the model may merge the faces, swap the outfits or invent a third person. The fix is role mapping: Image 1 is the person on the left, Image 2 is the person on the right.
The prompt also needs a shared scene. Two separate descriptions of two separate people produce a collage. One description of a shared place, light and camera produces a photograph. That is the difference between a couple costume edit and a sticker sheet.
The best source photos for a couple edit
Use two portraits taken at roughly the same distance from the camera. Similar light helps; a dark selfie and a bright outdoor shot are hard to reconcile. Both faces should be visible and unobstructed. Avoid photos where one person is partially behind the other, unless you want the final image to preserve that overlap.
You do not need matching outfits in the source photos. The edit will replace the clothing. You do need matching consent. Each adult should know that their photo is being used to create a new image.
Couple looks that work
Cowboy and Angel is the clearest contrast: one western silhouette, one soft feathered silhouette, both in a warm dusk scene. Midnight and Cosmic pairs a gothic velvet look with a celestial gown, which works when both people are comfortable in formal costumes. Skeleton and Siren pairs graphic makeup with a dark, wet-look outfit for a more editorial result.
The strongest couple looks share a color or a light source. They do not need to match. A shared amber streetlight can tie together a black coat and a white dress. A shared moon can tie together two very different silhouettes.
- Use one shared scene and one shared light source.
- Name each photo and each role in the prompt.
- Keep both costumes readable at thumbnail size.
- Avoid props that require hands.
- Check both faces before checking the outfits.
How to avoid face swaps
Face swaps usually happen when the model has to guess which face belongs to which body. Give it less to guess. Use two photos with similar framing, name the left and right person, and keep the costumes distinct. If both people wear similar black outfits, add one clear accessory to each.
If the swap still happens, change the composition rather than the prompt length. A side-by-side pose with clear separation is easier than an embrace where faces overlap. Once the identities are stable, you can try a closer pose.
Turn the portrait into a short couple video
After the still is approved, the Raindance duet studio can turn the two photos into a short performance clip. The scene maps each photo to a role, so the same role discipline applies. Keep the source photos separate and use the scene preview to decide whether the movement fits the costumes.
A couple video is more expensive than a still because it uses video credits. That is why the still comes first. If the portrait already looks wrong, the video will not fix it. If the portrait looks right, the video is a natural next step.
What this page will not do
It will not combine photos of people who have not consented, create a sexual scene, or put a public figure into a couple portrait without permission. It will not guarantee exact likeness or perfect hand placement. It will not fix a photo where one face is turned away from the camera.
It also will not make a group photo work as a couple edit. If there are three or more people, crop to two clear adults first, or use separate portraits. The model needs a clean role map.

Questions people ask
Can I upload two photos of the same person?
You can, but the result may look like twins. The couple workflow is designed for two different consenting adults.
Do the photos need to be the same size?
No, but similar framing and lighting produce a more coherent result. Both faces should be clearly visible.
Can I choose which person is on the left?
Yes. The prompt maps Image 1 to the left role and Image 2 to the right role. Upload in that order.
Can I make a couple video instead of a still?
Yes. Use the duet studio after the still is ready. It accepts two separate adult photos and a prepared scene.
What if the faces get swapped?
Use two photos with similar framing, make the costumes distinct, and keep the pose separated. A clear left/right composition is easier than overlapping faces.
Can I use a wedding photo?
Only if both adults consent to the edit. The source photo should show both faces clearly and should not include minors.
Is the result private?
Uploaded photos stay private. Generated results are tied to your account. A public result may be selected for the gallery only after review.
Can I use the portrait commercially?
You are responsible for likeness rights, the source photos and the model's terms. Do not use a couple portrait in an ad without both people's permission.
